La Ceiba is 5 miles away on the coast and is the 3rd largest city in Honduras. Home to the Standard Fruit Company since 1865, this clean, friendly city boasts a vibrant street scene and an infamous night life. The petite, spotless International Airport is just 15 miles away. Roatan, a true Carribean Island paradise, offering spectacular diving is just off shore. This area has it all. Back in the jungle, our accommodations are beautiful, simple, private and organic. If you are looking to be fed non veg cooked food, drink alcoholic beverages and in need of constant activities or a rental car, Casa Verde is not a match for you. We believe that less is more and encourage our guests to "power-down" and immerse themselves in the restorative vibe of the ashram and our simple raw, green, off-grid lifestyle.
